Over the years we often get asked the same questions - here are a few of the most popular ones :

Do we teach English or give English lessons?
No we do not, but if you come to the club you'll find that talking to others will improve your language skills. However, if required we can usually recommend people who give private lessons.


Is the club suitable for children?
Due to the presence of alcohol and tobacco the clubrooms are not suitable for children, however most outdoor activities are.


Who does all the work in the club to keep it running?
We have a committee who is responsible for the organisation of the club, however it is expected of the members to help do the work. There is always plenty to do ranging from cleaning duties, going shopping, tidying up, doing bar duty, planning and organising new events etc.
