The English Club in Bremen was founded in 1987 by an English teacher (Lis Liesicke née Poulter) and one of her students (Christian Kunz). It started off by a few people meeting in a pub called the Rover's Return in Bremen-Walle. On the 1st May 1992 the English Club became an e. V. (registered association). Today it has grown into a thriving lively club with more than 90 members of all ages, backgrounds and a variety of nationalities. |
