The English Club offers a unique opportunity to meet and talk to English speakers from around the globe in a friendly pub-like atmosphere. There are regular monthly events such as English film nights, quiz's, outings, cultural events and seasonal celebrations. We also have our own darts team which plays in a local league. The club has on offer a selection of English books, videos and games which can be either borrowed, or read and played in the club. The clubroom is open every Wednesday and Friday from 8 p.m. till late. |

Visitors are always welcome and the first visit is free. You need not become a member, but subsequent visits will incur a guest fee of €3,00. If you decide to become a member our monthly fees are € 7,50 or € 4,50 for students and those unemployed. As we are a non-profit making organisation everything on offer in the club is at a reduced price. Along with the local brews (Beck's and Jever) we offer an assortment of English (ie. Newcastle Brown Ale), Scottish and Irish beers (Guinness and Kilkenny), American beers, cider and spirits, as well as a range of soft drinks and typical English pub snacks. We look forward to seeing you and hope that you enjoy your visit. |
