The club meets regularly on Wednesdays and Fridays at Löningstrasse 13 from 8.00pm (20:00). These are our normal Club Nights, drop in and have a chat, a drink or borrow a book from the library. Additionally we organise extra events both at the club and outside.

League darts with our own team ‘Double Trouble’, on weekdays. Pub Quizzes are held once almost every month and kick off with a Happy Hour. On other occasions we have: Trivial Pursuit, Bingo evenings, Scrabble, etc.

Ice skating and the very popular Kohl & Pinkel Fahrt are our usual winter outdoor events.

The well known local folk band “Big Matten” has held three concerts in the club so far and more are to follow.

Seasonal parties such as Valentine’s/Carnival parties, May Dances, Halloween parties – when we all dress up and scare the neighbours on the way to the club -, Christmas Dinners – of course – and New Year’s parties are an absolute must.

Pancake Day and Easter are celebrated too, the latter with an Easter Egg Hunt.

Regular Film Brunches are held on Sundays during the autumn and winter.

The Annual General Meeting is held every year in April.

Boat trips on the Weser, a tour of Beck’s, a visit to the Universum science museum and a Jekyll & Hyde theatre backstage visit are examples of the extras we occasionally have and we even attended the Visit of the British Ambassador to Bremen in 2000.

Great outdoor events for when the weather is better are: Paper chase in the Bürgerpark, Cycling tours, Bar-Be-Ques at the Unisee, Paddling tours, the British Day in Hamburg etc.

We celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and St. Andrew’s Day with ½ price drinks but for some reason not St. Georges’ nor any other national days of the world at present.

Furthermore we go Bowling, have book readings in the club, go Scottish Dancing, have a professional Whisky Tasting Evening and to top it all off, one of the merriest nights of the year is our (in)famous Cocktail Evening.

So, there is plenty for everyone and remember that the outdoor events are usually suitable for children too! Guests are always welcome. Nationality makes no difference!
